WindArrow respects your privacy. This policy explains what data WindArrow uses and why.
Data WindArrow may use
- Location (GPS): Used to show your position on the map, build routes, record your track during sessions, and support Replay features.
- Device sensors (Heading / Motion, if enabled): Used to support compass/heading display and motion-based UI behavior.
- Weather request data: When you update forecasts, WindArrow requests weather/marine data from Open-Meteo. These requests may include coordinates (latitude/longitude) to fetch forecast data for your chosen area.
Data storage
- Session tracks and route data are stored locally on your device (including database-backed breadcrumb logs for long sessions).
Data sharing
- WindArrow does not sell your personal data.
- WindArrow does not share personal data with third parties for advertising.
- WindArrow does not use data for tracking across apps or websites.
Your choices
- You can manage Location access at any time in iOS Settings.
- You can delete the app to remove locally stored data from your device.
